Baby Likes To Go Places
To my daughter, Vesper. My shining star in the night sky.
Lila is a baby. She can’t walk or crawl. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to go places. In fact, Lila loves to spend time in different locations.
In the morning she loves to wake up in their crib after a good night’s sleep. But as soon as she wakes up, she wants to go.
Her first stop is the changing mat. There she gets all cleaned up. Lila has a great smile on the mat because she loves how fresh and pampered her skin feels after the nappy has been changed.
After that, she likes to be carried into the kitchen where she helps her mother throw away the dirty nappy. Then she smiles at her dad who is preparing her breakfast bottle.
Her next stop is her mother’s lap. There she settles down and impatiently waits for her bottle. Lilla eats fast. When she is finished, she goes over the shoulder until she burps.
After her breakfast, she goes into her play chair where she swings gently. There she also plays with different toys and materials that hang in front of her.
When she gets tired of playing, she likes to drink tea. After that, she falls asleep on her pillow on the sofa. She likes to be covered with a feathered quilt.
After lunch, she gets very excited because she goes outside with her stroller. There she looks at the sky and the top of the trees.
Often in the afternoon, she becomes restless and then she cries and screams. Lilla knows that she really wants her Dad’s embrace.
In the evening Lilla loves to go to the bathtub. Her parents make a lot of bubbles in shallow water. There she kicks and screams until she splashes her Dad.
But most of all she likes the quiet place on her mother’s shoulder. There she knows that she is loved and that everything is going to be alright. She falls asleep happy.
