Many of these DIY tutorials are already available online. I had to change some recipes for optimum results. This is what I’ve learned so far.

Paper Towels, Baby Wipes and Tissues; Makeup Removal Pads; Menstrual Pads

I use cotton napkins for paper towels. I also purchased reusable and washable cotton makeup remover pads. For wet/baby wipes, I mix some sea salt into roughly 2 glasses of water, and I add 10 drops of baby oil. Every time I need to change a diaper, I use a dry cloth and I dip it into the solution. After use, I throw it into the laundry basket. Same as makeup removal pads, I purchased washable cotton menstrual pads.

Micellar Water/Rough, dry skin Moisturizer

Mix 1/4 of a bottle of baby oil with 3/4 water. Use the usual amount. I found that my skin is moisturized enough that I don’t need a night cream. I use this mix every night on my feet, elbows, and any rough skin.

Mix 1 Tablespoon Bicarbonate Soda, 0,5 Tablespoon sea salt, and 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil. Use as usual. Make sure you spit the toothpaste into the garbage bin because Coconut Oil will clog your pipes.

Liquid Soap

Mix 1/3 bottle Bouble Bath and 2/3 bottle water. I use an old liquid soap pump and I use the usual amount, one to two pumps, per wash.

Leave-In Conditioner

Boil 0.5 l (0.13 gallon) of water and add 1 Tablespoon of rosemary and 1 Tablespoon of sage. Boil for a few minutes and leave at least 4 hours to cool. Strain the water part into a spray bottle. When you wash and rinse your hair spray it generously with this mix in the bathtub or shower. Do not rinse. I don’t towel my hair because it leaves spots. I blow dry it immediately or leave it to air dry during summer.

I use Cocoa butter as Labello.

Vitamin E Oil

1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon of Sunflower Oil

1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil

0.5 Tablespoon of Wheat Germ

Mix in a glass container and put that container into a bigger one with hot water. Leave for 3 hours. Strain the oils into a container. Use as usual.

Body Cream, Face Cream, Day and Night Moisturiser

Mix in ⅓ bottle few drops Vitamin E Oil, almond oil, and liquid sun cream of choice. Into ⅓ bottle, add Glycerin. Fill the rest up with water. I use a spray bottle because it’s so easy to apply. Use as usual.

Body Wash and Female Wash

Mix ½ bottle pH 5.5 body wash and ½ bottle water. Use as usual.

Mix Lancaster Sun Beauty sunscreen with the foundation of your shade. Test under eyes for the desired hue. Apply as cream with fingers.

BB Cream

Mix Lancaster Sun Beauty sunscreen and face moisturizer of your choice with a foundation of your shade. Test on the skin until you get the desired hue. Apply as cream with fingers.

Oven Cleaner

Mix Bicarbonate Soda and Vinegar in a bowl. When foam disappears, use a sponge and gently apply all over the oven. Leave it in 15 minutes, scrub and rinse thoroughly with water.

Under Eye Serum

Mix 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil, 1 teaspoon Vitamin E Oil, and 1 teaspoon Almond Oil. Use as usual. I also use it to smooth mine under eye concealer if it settles into my pores and wrinkles.

Vanilla Extract

Buy 2 Vanilla sticks. Cut in half and put in a glass jar. Fill the jar up with vodka. Leave in the pantry for 6-7 months. After 6-7 months transfer the liquid into a new glass container. Use as usual.

Fill the glass container with vanilla beans with vodka again to get a new bottle in 6-7 months.
